I know, I am sorry, this week isn’t about my wedding scrapbook. I figured on account of not actually having a ring on my finger yet, I had better slow the planning process down! Else I may well run out of things to plan!
So this week, I wanted to introduce you to some of the fabulous suppliers who have so far, confirmed to exhibit at our Weird and Wonderful Wedding World show, that we have planned for April 13th in Bristol. We have some really alternative stuff combined with some stuff just on the other side of slightly different. We wanted to offer a real range of suppliers for anyone that wanted to plan and Weird or Wonderful Wedding but in a very unconventional manner.
Cake Top Characters, or Cake top Cassie as she is other wise known has been a favourite of mine since we exhibited next to each other at a wedding fair last year. I just love how unique and different her toppers are… Betcha can’t find anything else out there like these?!
As featured in my first edition of my Wedding Scrapbook, Black Cherry Cake Co, sister company of the more wonderful Little Cake Co. are some of the best cakes I have ever seen. So quirky and totally unconventional… But if you want a Nightmare before Christmas cake for your wedding then you shall have that!!
If I am TOTALLY honest, I personally, am not a huge fan of flowers, I mean they’re pretty and all, but I kill them most of the time and I like the idea of having something different to flowers. However, that isn’t the case for everyone and this chick from The Wilde Bunch has got something truly awesome planned for the show… We, the organisers, don’t even know what it is… Just that she hoped there was no height limit… Maybe she’s growing a Beanstalk up to the giant…?!
Lisa Keating and her Corsets put the raunchy in to… Well RAUNCHY!! And well what more can I say except, these are DIVINE!!!
Now, I am sure we all like to have our ‘special outfits’ for the boys every now and then, what could be more special (and quite frankly pretty horny!) to have this beautiful underwear by Miss Jones, under that pretty dress on your big day. You could give the hubby to be a sneak peak so he won’t be able to get the image of what he wants to do to you later out of his mind!! (That’s if your not completely shattered after such a long big day!)
When I met Rose Popay at another wedding fair, I fell in love with her work. What an eccentric she is (I know this having seeing some of her cards she had made up, of her naked on the beach – they are still on my wall in the office!) but she is oh so lovely! I couldn’t think of any better entertainment to have at your wedding reception (apart from a Retro Photo Booth, Obvs!) than to have Rose capturing you and your guest in her artistic style and then letting the guests colour in! Its like adult paint by numbers (but I guess there aren’t any numbers!)
Well that is six suppliers to wet your taste buds, go check them out and see if they might suit you for your big day… I will be showcasing more next week! Watch this space!
